Kwena Square, FullFlame Life Church, and LIFCO Partner for Community Clean-Up Initiative

Johannesburg, 7 February 2025 – Kwena Square, in partnership with FullFlame Life Church, LIFCO Community Forum, and Checkers, will be hosting a Community Clean-Up Event on 22 March2025. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and community engagement.

Kwena Square, FullFlame Life Church, and LIFCO recognize the importance of maintaining clean and safe public spaces. This initiative encourages community participation in environmental conservation and strengthens partnerships between local organizations and residents.

About the Partners

FullFlame Life Church is a multiracial, Spirit-led, and Word-based church located in Ruimsig, Johannesburg. The church is dedicated to fostering community transformation through outreach programs, volunteer work, and social initiatives that uplift the community.

LIFCO Community Forum is a non-governmental, non-profit organization focused on uniting and protecting the Little Falls and Strubens Valley communities. Through projects such as park rehabilitation, safety initiatives, and environmental conservation, LIFCO works to enhance the quality of life for local residents.

Checkers has pledged to sponsor bottled water for all volunteers, ensuring they remain hydrated throughout the clean-up. This contribution forms part of Checkers’ ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts.

Get Involved

Community members are encouraged to participate in the clean-up and contribute to making a tangible difference. Volunteers should arrive between 7:00 – 7:30 AM for registration and a briefing session, with the clean-up running from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
