On October 27, 2024, Kwena Square proudly partnered with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and Virgin Active to host a successful cancer awareness event, reinforcing its commitment to making a positive impact in the community. This event supported CANSA’s efforts in cancer research, education, and patient care.

Virgin Active Little Falls instructed a family-friendly Free workout that saw around 30 participants join in, with RocoMamas sponsoring vouchers as treats for attendees post-workout. Throughout the day, families passing by also showed their support for CANSA by spraying their hair at the Shavathon booth, creating a visual display of solidarity with cancer survivors and those currently battling the disease.

The Shavathon booth, in collaboration with CANSA, provided a place for attendees to contribute donations, with all proceeds going directly toward CANSA’s programs supporting cancer patients and caregivers.

Kwena Square looks forward to continuing its support for meaningful causes, bringing the community together to make a difference. As stated by the event organizers, “We were thrilled to see our community come together for a cause that touches so many lives.”
